Winter Camp 2012
February 17-19
Friday 7:00 PM to Sunday 1:00 PM
Cost: $50, Jr. High and Sr. High
We are at war. Every day, a battle rages on around us and against us. The enemy is cunning, his
forces are many, and his goal is to make sure we don't fight. This battle is physical, mental,
emotional, and, above all, spiritual. With so much going on in our busy lives, it's easy to overlook
the attacks being made on us and those around us, but Satan takes advantage of that fact and keeps on coming.
Thankfully, in this epic battle, we have a leader who cannot be defeated, a leader who will
help us win our own fights and eventually win the biggest battle of all time. As warriors,
we need to be on the lookout for the enemy's attacks. We need to know how to identify his tricks,
reveal them, and ruin his plans. This year, experience "Call of Duty: Modern Spiritual Warfare".
It's a weekend at Camp Bethany like you've never seen before, a spiritual boot camp to train you
as one of God's soldiers. We are at war, and there's just one question you need to ask yourself:
are you ready to join the fight?
Theme Verses:
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. 2 Corinth 10 3-5a
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5
